As someone who has dissociative / apathetic tendencies, I often have the sense that I should be feeling more strongly, especially given current issues of existential risk, climate action, and social isolationism and depression that I am concerned about and wish to work on.

Maybe I’m just nonplussed. Maybe I’m numb. Maybe it’s not a big deal and I don’t have to wait to feel anything. Trying too hard to have or not have emotions can both express control issues.
