    | A total of 124 people were arrested during protests on Bridge and at Cross yesterday (Saturday). The majority have since been released under investigation. We thank members of the public for their patience while officers worked to remove the groups.

    UPDATE: Bridge has now been re-opened. 30 arrests were made for breach of S14 conditions. We continue to take action at Cross to remove protestors.

    Bridge remains shut as does Bridge southbound and some of Cross. We are working to get the roads re-opened ASAP.

    We have put conditions under the Public Order Act for a protest at Bridge and request all protestors leave the bridge. Officers are also dealing with an off-shoot protest at Cross. See conditions for Lambeth Bridge here 👇

    | We are responding to a demonstration which is blocking Lambeth Bridge. Officers were called at 14:10hrs and remain at the scene. Road closures are in place. Traffic has had to be diverted for the safety of all.

    Overnight a number of road closures will be put in place across Westminster and Whitehall ahead of the events. Specialist teams will be conducting a number of security patrols to keep those safe who will be visiting the Cenotaph tomorrow.
