Can't win. The general public get what the message was about, we understand you wouldn't have released it without consultation. For people to comment on the video without viewing it, it will happen, wrongly. Please some of the people some of the time...

Worry about the ignorance/lack of cultural awareness that would let anyone in any professional position in the city , incl police, think that kind of victim focus was ok. When will you do a campaign targeted at MEN that NO is no and they are responsible for own behaviour ?

Safe how? My scooter was stolen from my house, moped gang chased my sister. We went to police to find help and police said they know who are the gang and can't do nothing. Better sell my scooter. police can't protect me, my neighbourhood my family. Why police exist?

I think the video sent a powerful message. I do not think it was blaming the victim. It was highlighting how some sexual assaults can happen. Sexual offenders are predators. We need to teach our children that 'NO MEANS NO' how to look after each other and how to stay safe....1/2

I Think the video did that. I don't see how it blamed the victim. She was saying NO to the extra drinks and NO to the attacker. I have been guilty of getting friends that extra drink, after watching the video I won't be doing it again. We need to raise awareness of that danger.

Crime prevention isn’t about apportioning blame to victims it’s about reducing the risk of ever becoming one. I for one, of a daughter soon leaving for Uni, fully applaud this campaign, thank you for trying to do the right thing

Parents tell their kids not to talk to strangers. Should they stop doing that because it makes it look like their kids are to blame if they get assaulted? No. So what’s wrong with telling people to look out for their mates? Or advise people to be careful if they’re drunk?

It’s the way the tweet was worded. No doubt it had good intentions but it (IMO)gave the impression that if friends don’t look out for each other, they are somehow partially responsible if a friend is raped. 1/2
