As much as I love @Twitch, it’s still a place where racism and bigotry appear far too often.
Don’t let it slide. Confront viewers who make racist comments. Time them out. Educate them. Ban them if you have to.
Show your community that it’s not acceptable anywhere.
Ever.
As a producer on Twitch I take this very seriously. I have a zero tolerance policy for racist comments, it is not welcome on our shows, our channel, our site. We can and will do better.

This dialogue is a great start. You said it best, "Don't let it slide". Ever. We have to work together to enforce Twitch's TOS. Enabling Automod, talking to your moderators about the rules, and being vigilant are the best tools we have to fight online abuse and hate.
