I'd gladly take shitty video games in 2018 if it meant a saner world. Hopefully all of the above turn out ok. It is indeed an irony that for how tumultuous and traumatic the rest of life in 2017 was, 2017 in gaming was probably the best year this century.

My 2017 was rough, but the best part of being laid off for nearly 6 months was the games. Got a Switch and played Zelda, played Persona, spent a lot of time with Subnautica and Elite Dangerous to kill time. Here's to an excellent 2018!
