Divinity patches fixed my save file. Thank you @larianstudios! Although I did so much better on my 2nd play through I'll probably keep it.

It's also really cool to see how different the game is with a new character, new dialog options and entire villages treat u differently.

So far I think playing as The Red Prince has been my favorite, though I haven't gotten especially far with any one character.
