All the motion puzzles in Zelda are equally broken, but this one is hardest. I wonder if it's a Switch issue or BotW issue.
Im playing on the Wii U and it was also pretty frustrating, I ended up cheesing it by moving it widely until it fell in.

I cheesed it by flipping the gamepad completely upside down, using the flat surface as a ramp, and flicking it up
