It's amazing how quickly the homeless in SF will tell u to go fuck yourself when you tell them you do not in fact, have any change.

most homeless in SF have serious mental issues and we don't support people with mental illness. Theyre coming from a tough place
I have empathy for the homeless, but scaring people shouldn't be ignored.

I get what you're saying. There's no way I can know what 10+ years are like away from regular society, what it must feel like.
