Merry, I love u I really do but one thing stuck out to me from the recent pod. I never usually tweet but it did strike a cord regarding the comedy special. I can't believe we live in a world in which u need to warn someone that a comedian might mention suicide.

By way of background my mother has attempted suicide multiple times and has also been committed. Her ex boyfriend killed himself and my grandfather was also committed for mental health reasons. I understand not everyone is the same but I have been surrounded with manic

In her mental health ward people did not shy away from problems. I'm sorry for this but I don't think it's healthy to live a world that we must put warnings on all media in case it triggers someone. If that is the case then maybe we should just become extinct. Again, I love u

ah I understand. Thanks for sharing your perspective. Similar to you I know someone who struggles with depression and suicidal tendencies, they actually posted they were upset there wasn't more warnings, and I considered that really deeply. To you, its unnecessary, and I respect

That choice, but I also respect my friend that was upset by watching it. I didn't have the same reaction as her, but to me, a warning isn't likely harming anyone, its just there, like an M for Mature warning on a game. I'll just buy it anyway, but good to know.
