I've made a commitment to only buy new games I promise to complete or add least out 1hr/$10 of playtime. To us use reduced my quantity of purchases while increasing the quality.

Pretty much. Once I've got that I don't feel guilty about stopping so I'm happy to not finish or 100% long open world games if they provided me with 10-20 hours of fun. And it also prevents the FOMO sales buys where I never end up playing the game, so the discount is worthless.
