My Grandma passed this week. She was loved by family and friends. She bought me my first personal computer. She owned over 2000 movies and going over to her house was a joy as a child. I'll miss her. The hardest part is knowing I can't be with family to celebrate her life.
I wish I could hug my family, and raise a drink in her honor. I'm not able to do any of this due to Covid, and even though I understand, I'm frustrated by the situation. Not being with family while we grieve is a unique pain, and I'm not dealing with it very well.
Taking Covid seriously impacts everyone around us. If we were in a better place as a country, I might have been able to go. I'm angry that we're in this situation. I'm angry I followed the rules, and I'm still being punished. I think I'll be angry for a while.
But regardless of everything, I'd love you let you know she was wonderful. Her name was Nancy, and I'll always love her.
