that and Cyberpunk. Which I get to some degree because consoles and games are actually going to be difficult to get by the Holiday, but I don't see how being angry at the influencer helps. I wasn't able to snag a PS5 but I'm not angry at others who did.

I think you're taking it personally... people aren't angry "at you" they're angry "at the system." Yes, MANY people have issues with where and how they direct that anger, but they're not ACTUALLY angry at the individual people. They're angry at class-based society and capitalism.

Hmm I think we're actually more alike on this issue, but seeing different things. I'm not angry at people who are mad at the system, I'm mad at people responding to creators with threats and offensive remarks, saying they didn't deserve the thing.

In this case I agree with you and understand your POV. But my comment was specifically for anger and vitriol directed at creatives themselves.

I would just encourage you to not see these "attacks" as "personal" and see them as people's inability to reconcile the system they live in with the promise of that system, that "hard work = reward." Because that's NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN the truth in a capitalist society.

I appreciate your opinion on this and sharing it with me. I will do that. I still feel there's no excuse for harassment of an individual because of an improper system. If people are angry with Nike for giving things away that's one thing, but yelling at an athlete is another.
