It's difficult to perceive negative reactions to influencers of any size getting free games/merchandise/hardware as anything other than jealousy.

I appreciate this opinion. I agree on the economic side of this, just dislike the anger associated with the creators themselves.

It’s truly a frustrating matter. But it can’t be helped on either side. It basically comes down to “it be like that sometimes, that’s capitalism” and making yourself a stiff drink
