I pay their blood money for unlimited because I have no other option, but I download as much as I possibly can out of principle. Most months I hit 4-5 TB used. Anyone need anything downloaded? Feel free to come on over.

Streaming or hell just downloading games digitally for steam/consoles eat this up way more. Had to pay for their cap removal
-
Same. Have 2 people work from home and all 5 of us in the house game so it was an immediate to remove that cap

Had to upgrade to their "unlimited" plan because me and my roommate are both Content Directors for Esports teams and run through 1.5TB of data in the first 10 days of every month. Can't wait to switch providers when we move.
-
That is the horrible thing some people don't even get the option to switch unless they actually move. Like at my place it's only spectrum. Spectrum actually went to court to try to get out of an agreement so they can add more data caps sooner. I will be screwed when that happens.

This cap already exists where I live and it's trash. I watched E3 coverage and Summer Games Done Quick one year and basically had to limit what I did for the last 10 days of the month.

They need to stop and think about how much infrastructure upgrades they would need to handle your data usage. That's usually the bottom line, companies these days seem unaware that they have a bottom line, even!
