I'm so sorry! this happened to simone. Do NOT use hydrogen peroxide, or most things you would use on yourself. This can cause infection. Clean with water, cover with a bandage and do not let him scratch. You can use a warm towel tomorrow & compress the wound (gets out bacteria)

he's really lucky it missed his eye, and unless they get infected he should be ok, but you want to clean and cover so it's less likely to have issues. The warm compress is what we did for simone every day for 5 days. If there's puss and stuff, you have to take him in.
