It’s hard to separate my Blair Witch fandom, which I’m trying to sort though, but Blair Witch’s effectiveness is predicated on normal people in an impossible, spiraling situation where the supernatural element is very much in question. You never *see* anything.

Whereas this game has someone with mental illness, pulling on a horror trope where those issues are used to create the illusion of “is this real??,” and explicitly makes the supernatural highly visible, something that can be fought.
