I applaud developers who add accessibility options (incl difficulty settings) in their games. But I also respect a developer’s right to make the game they want to make, one that executes on their specific vision & may not be for everyone.
These are good points. I also respect the developers vision, I just don't like it as the end all be all to the discussion. We don't always know their intentions, and I also believe they have room to expand their views based on players requests, so there's room to grow.

There was a time where no one gave 2 shits about color blindness in games and made whatever colors they wanted to, now (some) devs consider that and change color pallets. They changed their end vision so they could include more, and its not for everyone but still interesting.

Is changing a few colors so you can see something better the same to you as changing the entire vision of a game and how it is to be played? To me putting a different colored jersey on an athlete doesn’t change the rules of any game. Making scoring easier does.
