Super worth reading thread about difficulty modes in games, if you haven't read it yet you should.https://twitter.com/docsquiddy/status/1111039045038235655 …

bs its assuming that all people have the same range of skill level, especially considering that some people are disabled, something I don't often consider myself. Saying 'Pick another game' is really missing the perspective of others who cannot have the same experiences u can.
-
I think that's really the only point I wanted to make. Consider other perspectives before bluntly assuming they just want an easier game. But I respect your opinion that the game is what is for a reason, thats fair. ah i feel better.

I agree, and I'm not against difficulty modes. Do I want everyone to be able to play everything, & experience all of the great gaming moments I have? Of course. I was just saying that if a developer's vision includes 1 path of difficulty, then who am I to say change that vision

That's fair, and I really appreciate you taking the time to have this convo with me.

I never assumed that the convo was just about an easier game, as the person in the thread had a disability. & as I said earlier, if a team wants their game more accessible, cool. But everyone can't play/beat everything, be it from skill level, time constraints, or disabilities.

Thank you for listening to my end as well. I didn't mean to, or wasn't trying to make you angry. Or be dismissive of people with disabilities. Because I have a hard time with From Software games, & think well this game isn't for me, there are other games to enjoy.

Then this experience isn't for u, as you can't play it the way the artist who made it, intended. Sometimes you're too short to get on the ride,& that's okay. There are plenty of other experiences to enjoy.
