The fun thing about the word 'sure' is it means 'yes' but also, 'fuck u'.

I guess as a non-native speaker, I honestly only realized it means more than 'yes' quite recently - I've always used it as 'enthused yes'.
Tone and inflection change it a lot. Saying "Sure!" enthusiastically is nice. But a cold 'sure' contains a hidden message.
