To me, this is a big ad with no narrative. I can watch these trailers minutes after they premiere and spend my time doing other things rather than waiting. Why should I watch live?

I just wanna watch premiers at the same exact time as everyone else so that a world-wide conversation can be had at once. I think it’s the fact that it’s a curated event.. it’s like a big ass Nintendo direct.

Good point! It's the immediate conversation that makes it worth watching the show live. Nintendo Direct just seems to have perfected the format haha
