Phase 1 of corrupting my daughter began last night—we watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. We've yet to find anything that scares her, and after some initial nervousness, it passed. She's spent all day today marching around, demanding to see the pumpkin king. (She's two.)
I saw The Nightmare Before Christmas in theaters with my mom and sister. My mom walked out really weirded out by how dark it was, but my sister and I thought it was the greatest movie ever.

I can't remember how I fell into the movie, or if I saw it in a theater. I did go through a Burton phase for a while.

Tbf, it was a lot easier to go through a Burton phase back when he made good movies.
