Depends on how the law is administered. A law such as the Brady Law regarding domestic violence would be perfectly legal. Due process isn’t disregarded involving domestic violence weapon possession. How can anyone possibly interpret a law unconstitutional BEFORE it is written?

The only real argument would be in the case of orders of protection. In my little area alone, I know of at least 2 instances when the order did not protect those that needed it. We hold bar tenders liable for impaired people driving, why allow unstable people to keep their guns?
