  Mike Rowe is behind a huge initiative for blue collar careers. He complains that he cannot give away millions in grant money every year, and for good reason. Many kids refuse to do the grants basic requirements.

  My husband dropped out of high school and got his GED. He is a heavy equipment road technician and makes more money than I do. I went to college and am a middle school teacher. College is not for everyone. Likewise, I couldn't do what he does every day.
