Honestly, #AhmaudArbery could have had a contract and earnest deposit on the property. It is quite common to babysit new construction to monitor progress. He had a right to "trespass" like everyone else. You don't have to have papers to peep inside. It was his neighborhood.
He didn’t live in that neighborhood but not that far away. Like everyone has said he did nothing wrong. Tons of people look inside homes, especially this particular one based on videos.
