Record 2,152,000 people visited Auschwitz in 2018 I was fortunate enough to go there in 2017, and it's a harrowing experience, but one I think every student should have the opportunity to do. We're lucky to have in the UK

  3. Philander, and Stuart Broa, both do this a lot. They run down the wicket, assuming they will get their wicket, without turning round to the umpire. I don't know about fines, but if I was an umpire, I would simply ignore the 'appeal', if the bowler didn't turn round

  4. Conservative MP Andrew Rosindell's Facebook account was a member of the “Free Tommy” Facebook group, supporting the far-right thug Tommy Robinson... This is really not good, if true. Tories must take immediate action He can join UKIP instead

  5. Ridiculous LBW appeal from Vern Philander, running down the pitch and appealing without even turning round to the umpire - then forcing the captain to review it, when it's so obviously outside the line.... very poor cricket

  9. To be clear, I probably wouldn't agree with what says on most issues. But to pretend this little outburst somehow matches what the president has consistently said on everyone from Mexicans and Muslims to disabled people, would be distorted

  10. .: “We’re going to go in and impeach the motherfucker” Not exactly parliamentary language, as John Bercow may say, but let's not pretend it's half as bad as what has said about a a host of groups. He is the definition of political vulgarity

  14. Basically, , you're being antisemitic through rhetoric of Israel-Palestine. I have no doubt, many Palestinian activists tear their hair out when people like yourself parade yourself around as an ignoramus. The debate does not have to descend to this gutter politics.

  15. All this said, they obviously wouldn't have had suffragettes in school. They were seen as criminals and extremists at the time, they were jailed, beaten, and turned into villains. Suffragettes put themselves in danger too.

  16. It is very sad, that the Mosque in Golders Green was bullied by Jewish activists when it first landed, and then bullied into cancelling this exhibition by Islamist apologists for Press TV. It is sadly so predictable the way extremists quash any moderate voices

  17. Let's be clear. The event in Golders Green mosque was a Holocaust educational event, showcasing the way Muslims saved Jews. It was nothing to do with Israel. It was organised by UK activists, and supported by Yad Vashem, the best Holocaust research centre in the world.

  18. 2. You are implying implying equivalence between the Holocaust and Israel Palestine. Therefore, you're comparing Israel to Nazis, and Palestinians to Jewish victims of the Nazis, inverting the victim and the perpetrator of the Holocaust. This is massively antisemitic & spiteful

  19. If your response to Muslims engaging in Holocaust education is 'what about synagogues commemorating deaths of Palestinians', you are: 1. Applying collective responsibility on *British Jews* for the actions of Israel (a foreign state.) This is massively antisemitic

  20. This is antisemitic antizionism, from 'Muslims would be more than happy to hold such events in our mosques, if Jews would hold similar events in the synagogues commemorating the deaths of innocent Palestinians at the hands of occupying Israeli army.
