Bitcoin might also force more humane central bank policies as people will have a choice. Central banks will want their stable coins to survive and won't be able to afford doing the same old tricks with impunity.
isn’t it funny that all of these central bank issued digital currencies are just going to drive education and awareness around bitcoin?
the best way to exit a currency war is to... not participate 
and for the first time that choice might actually be viable

- peer-to-peer
- permissionless programmability
- user-controlled & custodied
- delegation to smart contracts
- anonymity & privacy
- decentralized governance -
I think of current central bank currency as ‘digitized’ rather than digital. Like a fax, as opposed to email.
