A reasonable aspiration, but maybe we can start swapping out existing board members or having ppl decline to take a seat in deference to a diverse addition. The last thing most founders/execs need is more dilution of board power, especially someone in a big investor’s pocket

I want to be on, or advise, boards where I add max value, where my skills / knowledge / experiences augment the C-level team. That matchmaking is hard when done right, even without the diversity lens. It isn't just like, "Yo, over here, Dominican-American mixed race PhD, wassup!"
