Prior 2 announcing I received overwhelming positive feedback. However it was VERY difficult to gain support/raise money when EVERY article in the Buff. News said I wouldn’t win. Also, the rural & Monroe county chairs refused to meet and accusing me of being an Erie Ctny recruit.

Ur political freshness makes u a great candidate so having a hard time buying it. Nate couldn’t beat some1 under indictment so if Dems would rather throw support 2 him, its time 2 call them out. 1 reason not 2 would b if there is a swamp deal in place.

Not to mention EVERY article that Bob McCarthy released said I did not have a chance. The odds were stacked against me from several angles.

The ONLY quality that McMurray has is fortitude in the face of all opposition. Still believe the people would have supported u. Unfortunatly, if u caved so quickly in this race, can’t c that u have the stomach 4 politics.

This was not about fortitude!!! This was about Chairs who were SINGULARITY responsible for voting/endorsing me to GET ON THE BALLOT. I showed up on cnty chair doorsteps 2 force a meeting. The chairs said Nate was “one of them” they said the office was too big for me etc.

I’m offended that you would think I had skeletons or that I caved! I fought until the end and when McCarthy asked why I was still pushing/persisting/fighting Zellner responded that “I didn’t get it” so don’t tell me I CAVED!

Shame u weren’t this offended by Chairs. All that I hear are excuses. Ever hear of 3rd party lines or taking your case directly 2 the voters? Don’t u think voters would like 2 hear what Chairs told u (Nate 1 of us)? Instead of just suddenly dropping out?

Excuses? There WERE NO OTHER OPTIONS! This was an appointment! I’m not sure how to explain this other than I lost to Nate-I did not get more than 50% of the Dem. Chair vote. Voters did NOT have a choice. These are the rules for the special which I don’t have ANY control over.
