I understand that the general public's first option is to mute a person who is being sexist, racist etc & that other lobbies can be harsher than this. As a woman who works in esports, I find it disturbing that our first response is to mute and to not try to correct their actions.
(Yes, I did report him right after). I am very honored to be a female in esports with a platform. Even with those opportunities, I and others in my position still feel afraid to speak out. What else do we need to do?
