As a New Yorker I'm gonna push back on the Cuomo take. There's a phalanx of activists/organizers that do tireless work + score wins. If holding power to account were easy I'd be on my way to Congress. I don't envision a scenario where Biden wins and M4A activists shut up.

We lived through eight years of Obama. We know that he's not going to do anything for us, and once in office we have no leverage. Even if by some miracle the Dems get both houses of Congress they're not going to try for M4A because they depend on $$from the insurance industry.
