I see all this as a wake up call - I know that I wasted a ton of time and money on people I thought were fighting the establishment- now I know when the time comes to make a decision they chose to hand their power to that establishment - my time and money was wasted

What exactly did you do to waste your time? Were you canvassing, text banking, phone banking? Even if you did, it’s not a waste- building a movement is about people connecting & organizing together. Those connections are what you use to build power on the left, non-electorally.
