That's what's being said when housing, hotels, shelters, and even sidewalks are denied.

Good to know you care more about drug Addicts than your own kids.
Yeah God forbid we show compassion for those suffering from substance use disorder and instead shuffle them off to somewhere where us middle class folk won't be made to feel uncomfortable.

Also, the issues at the Umbrella Hotel are not being caused by unhoused folks, for the record. The city stopped using the hotel as an emergency shelter in 2019.
