For a long, LONG time, I fell into the trap of believing Dem leaders meant well but just didn't know how to fight the GOP. I'm almost ashamed to say it took me more than a decade to fully realize how callously they manipulate voters with performative opposition.

"Good" is relative. Compared to the mauling of America that the Republican Party is committing, the Democrats are the "Good" party. When you look at them in terms of what they are doing in the best interests of their constituents, then you begin to see them the way I do. Feckless
I hear you, but Rs don't get to this point on their own. It's decades of Ds helping pave the way through bad policy choices and political considerations which makes them complicit. It need not be the lesser of two evils that's been foisted upon us.
