For a long, LONG time, I fell into the trap of believing Dem leaders meant well but just didn't know how to fight the GOP. I'm almost ashamed to say it took me more than a decade to fully realize how callously they manipulate voters with performative opposition.
Ditto. So many people assume a D next to your name makes you one of the "good guys" but you can't look at Dems actions and funding objectively without concluding we've been had.
