Imagine if you were 100 years old and earned $18 million dollars a year. You would have $18 billion dollars today. Jeff Bezos has added $24 billion to his fortune since the start of this pandemic. Look me in the eye and tell me billionaires shouldn’t have a higher tax rate.
The math is off! After 100 years you would only have $1.8 billion.
The situation is somehow even worse 
The rich get richer apparently. If even 10% of Bezos's wealth went to the people, the good that could be done with that money (lifting others out of poverty, providing food and healthcare to the disenfranchised) would be phenomenal. Sadly, greed rules all, including the president
With compounded interest he might be able to get there anyway.
Screw a higher tax rate... there should be an income cap. It would tax 31.7k years to count to $1T if every number was 1 second. Obviously no single human (or city for that matter) needs that kind of wealth.
