I'm grateful to Sen. Sanders for his lifelong commitment to justice, for inspiring millions who have been forgotten by the system.
#Covid19 has brought to the fore the need for policies such as #MedicareforAll, a #HomesGuarantee, Fair Wages & worker protections. The policy failures of the status quo have exacerbated the effects of the virus. @BernieSanders has been sounding the alarm about this for decades.
Without Senator Sanders in the White House, we will need real progressive voices in Congress, and dedicated activists around the country to continue this movement and fight for the have nots.
From the beginning this movement has been about all of us, not just a candidate for President. While I'm saddened we won't have a progressive in the Oval Office, there's no time to mourn.
