I've seen a few articles this a.m. about @BernieSanders tax proposal on the mega-rich. The framing has been either how it will fund his "costly" proposals, or how much wealth billionaires will lose. What's wrong with this picture?

What's wrong is that it centers the conversation around the ideal that gross wealth extraction is fine.. doesn't get into how mega rich have stolen equity from us, and frames everything around the context of personal enrichment, ignoring collective need to fund society
