If a character wears this coat in a film/play/tv series, it's a fact she's a loose unit.
She'll smoke. She'll drink. She probably won't wash her hair often.
She'll be the most fun person in the world but she'll let you down so don't get too close punk - don't get too close!
I want to say a few words about what I think is THE most important issue in the current writers' strike: https://georgerrmartin.com/notablog/2023/05/08/writers-on-set/…
If Miss Havisham was living today, in her forties, isolating in a derelict Paddo townhouse, being delivered cake by Uber eats, it occurs to me this song is her -
And other thoughts on trains across the UK
First learned about Glamis Castle in Year 8 when we did Macbeth. Fell in love with that play. Fell in love with Shakespeare. Fell in love with theatre.
Went there today and it wasn't the grim place I expected, it was glorious.

If you have to spend the rest of your life in gold robes visiting bolt factories in Slough, you'd want it to be with someone who makes you laugh and have The Chem with.
#Coronation
That said: I'm currently jet lagged and making my way through a box of Coronation Violet and Rose cream truffles from Fortnum's.
Please don't read that as an endorsement of monarchy, but an endorsement of delicious chocolate.
There is flag bunting along Oxford Circus and some souvenirs at Fortnum's, but it doesn't feel like modern Britain is getting into with any vigour.
Am staying in touristy spot 5 mins from Kensington Palace and none of the souvenir shops near me have any #coronation tatt even!
I'm in London at the moment.
Have mostly been in the West End and Southbank, but you'd not really know that there's a #Coronation on.
It's certainly not being reflected in any theatre programming or convos I've had with any friends.
For whoever needs to hear this, mostly in the Facebook realm, to be sure:
Most of us are more likely to read your very long update if you do us the courtesy of spaced paragraphs.
It's a beautiful day in London for the first of two two show days!
(Oklahoma! and The Lehman Trilogy).
Please enjoy this photo of the first place I lived in London and wrote my first play. Am feeling embarrassingly, indulgently nostalgic today.
Actor Heather Mitchell's life has been as dramatic off screen as it has on. And she’s channelling those experiences into some of the greatest performances of her career https://ab.co/3HrhkJE
It's such a genius idea, the only thing I can think of is that Sydney Airport keeps knocking it back as it would be a great drug import cover? All the white powders etc
May this tweet get to the eyes of the right wrong person should that be the case, there are nails to be done
A service has been held this evening to mark the arrival of the Stone of Destiny at Westminster Abbey.
The stone – an ancient symbol of Scotland’s monarchy – will play a central role in the #Coronation of HM The King on 6th May.

Please enjoy this piece of film trivia I discovered this afternoon:
Not a word of dialogue in #LawrenceOfArabia is uttered by a woman. Every single word in nearly four hours of film is spoken by men.
