Also, uber and other services when you're disabled, have health issues and cannot drive, aren't convenience services...they are essential services. If you're unable to PROVIDE that essential service, then you can't do your job. THAT is what's unacceptable.

And yes, at least in Southern CA, Uber does have a selection for drivers if you're disabled AND REQUIRE ASSISTANCE. Meaning...if you need someone to physically lift you. Otherwise? Yes. Yes you do have to reasonably accommodate.

And an actual service animal isn't dirty. They do not bite. They do not claw things. They don't even tend to shed much because of the breeds specifically used. No one is talking about 'emotional support peacocks' here. Wheelchairs and actual service dogs people.
