I feel like this is a rare exception for me where everyone sucks here. Like bf wasn't terrible for getting flowers, but having them sent to the house and how he talks about his gf and women makes him suck.
I don’t understand why he sent them to the house unless he wanted his gf to know? And I don’t think getting flowers for a co-worker of the opposite sex is wrong if it’s for sympathy but I do think it’s weird for a “just because” after a conversation about high school.
The house is weird to me. I can imagine not wanting the office to get the wrong idea if they're delivered but just come in early and drop them off. Or do it at lunch.
Any flowers near Valentine’s Day are going to give people the wrong idea. Maybe he should’ve just brought her a coffee instead and drawn a flower on it as a thank you for being a friend. I feel like there’s an ulterior motive - have the gf find out without having to tell her.
Yeah you're probably right. I can remember all flowers I've gotten around valentine's day, even platonic ones.
