there were a lot of half-baked concepts both the Knight and We The Audience were supposed to immediately grasp, like the Single Poor Man with his horde of hungry adopted children? Or the Red-Headed Town Slut?

did u also think Vanessa was going to get with the single poor man with many kids? I got such Big Longing Vibes from their scenes.

yeah! this was like almost-3 different Christmas movies at once.. im wondering to what extent the weird, Hallmark production values-style of filmmaking is intentional?

def intentional. I think Netflix's angle is recreating the atmosphere of a Hallmark movie with More Sex which I know sounds insane having watched the movie but that shirtless scene is 2 risque for Hallmark.

i can absolutely see that! and you could p much do this with *everything* in the film but how did The Knight know how to use Vanessa's shower? *i* can't figure out how to use new showers

all of this is irrelevant bc it's implied they're all at least late 20s/early 30s and he'd be Big Dead or close.
