What's frustrating is that it went off the rails about halfway through. For a while, it looked like it was going to take a really hard look at sexual violence.

The episode didn’t say Seven lied or anything like that. There are people who get accused not because someone lied but of stuff like this wrong evidence stuff like that.

THAT BEING SAID. False accusations are incredibly rare and Voyager has a strong history of walking up to the progressive line like they’re going to say something bold and then being shitty.

Look man, I don’t need to show my work. If you want to believe that go ahead. I’m not stopping you. I WILL say that the world doesn’t need a narrative that says “Look at what a false accusation can do” as much as it needs one that says “look at the cost of disbelieving.”
