Been seeing a lot of “well, the book wasn’t good in the first place” reassessment of IT, and all I can say is you really need to read some of these pieces going around about Stephen King and dysfunctional, lonely childhoods to understand why it lands with so many people.

Ugh this makes me angry. I have my own issues with King's writing, but this book has its importance and place in literature and pop culture. I'm even more excited that I'm seeing this with you.
