1. Geekerella by @ashposton. I read this book because I got an ARC of the sequel, and I devoured it in a day. I don't love Cinderella as a fairy tale, but this retelling is brilliant. It is light, has all the tropes I love, and I highly recommend it for all fairy tale lovers.

2. Shadowhouse Fall by
@djolder. The sequel to Shadowshaper, an urban fantasy that blends Brooklyn with the spirit world in a brilliant manner. Few sequels are as good or better than the first...this one exceeded it by leaps and bounds.Show this thread -

@tjenkinsreid. This book falls onto my list of books that I recommend to anyone who asks me for recommendations now. And a brilliant green dress on both covers that I covet so much!Show this thread -

8. Vassa in the Night by
@sarahporterbook. Again for@fable_ulous! Baba Yaga in Brooklyn. It's weird, its horrific, it's atmospheric, it is not afraid to be brutal. As a Baba Yaga story should be!Show this thread -
9. Jane, Unlimited by
@kristincashore. I ALMOST DNF'd this book, but I have never been happier to decide to give a book a second chance. It isn't for everyone, but it had plenty for me in multiple endings.Show this thread -
