The channel owner for /CIG/ is stating that he did not remove the channel, but rather that Telegram removed it.

/CIG/Telegram and Bellum Acta channels, both major "news" and meme spreaders, just got banned from Telegram. Not those cheesy Apple iOS bans, but like real from-the-source bans. Happened about 10 minutes ago.

At 3:02pm ET, Bellum Acta posted pro-Jihadist content 3 times. It was literally labeled "pro-Jihadist source" so maybe that was the reason.

Both channels already made replacements. A disaffected Telegram user is taking credit for the banning - is claiming that this is over a dox that the channels posted a few months back.
