2/ It’s interesting to look at customer usage too Starling reports personal customer accounts have an average balance of £1,450, whereas Monzo reported that only 30% of their customers deposit £1000 in their account each month At the end of the day, both are doing great though!

In terms of adoption this is impressive, but as you put elsewhere there’s more factors. What’s the average holding per account, how many accounts do each user have. With

From a consumer POV, I love both. Since Starling & Monzo, my Halifax app is getting updated weekly with new features (notifications of payments, freezing my card etc). I think both have lit a fire under the old 6 & it's working. It's all good.

Case in point. I've been a customer with Halifax since my junior cash ISA. Had this arrive in my inbox this morning. Never had it before.pic.twitter.com/NoUh0cAnie
