East Tennessean with a passion for people and progress. Running for Congress, fighting for change. Strong morals, poorly timed jokes, and proper table manners.
I was pulling up signs in downtown Chattanooga and a firefighter yelled, “I voted for you—I’m sorry!” from an engine full of firefighters. I smiled and yelled, “Thank you—it’s okay!” And it is. Working people are figuring out who’s on their side.
No one ever looks back and thinks “darn, I wish I hadn’t voted.”
The polls are open for 30 more minutes. So if you haven’t already, now’s the time to #vote.
Let’s finish strong! 💪🗳
If you’re a Chattanooga Democrat living between North Chatt and Dallas Heights, and you still haven’t voted, just know that I’m out canvassing. And I will show up at your door and drag you to the polls myself.🗳😉
Today is Election Day. Vote for kids, for women, for your parents and grandparents, for teachers, for working people, for vulnerable communities, and for our democracy 🇺🇸

It’s because of those who came before us that we have our rights. We must refuse to be the weak links in this centuries-long fight for progress. Not for ourselves, but for those who will come after us—for those who will continue our fight.
Please don’t sit this one out. #vote
There are more Democrats who don't vote than Republicans who do!
Tomorrow is the last day to early vote. You know what to do.

The Chattanooga Times understands the needs of Tennessee’s Third District and the threats we face individually and as a country—including from our current representative. I’m proud to have their endorsement.
