Do you have an electric blanket? Such joy!
(In no way discouraging your desire to stay in bed... sorry. But you could be SO cosy in there.

Don't tempt me!
I'd cocoon myself in bed, it'll be far too lovely to ever leave.

2 things to check out... Iron levels (anaemia) and thyroid. I just couldn't get warm with anaemia despite dressing like a Michalin man.

Touchscreen gloves and slipper boots for when it's really cold. Plus a dressing gown in every room and copious amounts of blankets. Being cold is awful.

I actually used drugs and alcohol early in detransition in part to deal with feeling bitterly cold, which created it's own vicious cycle. At the time I interpreted it as a result of my chest having been almost entirely defleshed in my second botched surgery...
-
...but since it got better with time (and no, my chest did not regenerate) I now think it may have been largely hormonal.

I'm the same, cold = basically hibernating, no tasks allowed. I keep getting out the hot water bottle intent on using it, then putting it down somewhere and forgetting... I should try follow through on that one day - I think I need it!

this is obviously anecdotal, but as someone with high estrogen levels who was always cold, I just realized (when I read your tweet) that once I started progesterone a few years ago during perimenopause that I am not nearly as cold as I used to be! maybe it's an imbalance?

Could be an under-active thyroid. Leads to feeling cold all the time, is very VERY common in women, and massively under-diagnosed.

Alternatively, seeing as you are taking estrogen, it's possible that you are getting the symptoms of hypothyroidism, without actually HAVING an under-active thyroid, as estrogen can throw your endocrine system off, and give you those symptoms. See here: https://www.mariongluckclinic.com/blog/estrogen-dominance-hypothyroidism.html#:~:text=Too%20much%20estrogen%20can%20also,but%20estrogen%20is%20still%20present ….

I'm joking of course BUT I can't even handle mild coldness now. I want all the layers, I want to get into bed and stay there forever
