Are other post-hysterectomy/oophorectomy women just put on whatever dose of estrogen and never get levels checked too? Or am I genuinely being ignored? I have no comparison and IDK what it is I should be expecting from them. All I do know is on T my levels were always checked.

In my opinion that’s bullshit. I got that same line when I’m T. No! Levels matter.

That's flipping shit of your GP. I'd suggest you're right & demand a review based on levels.

It’s a problem of the NHS generally. There’s a “normal range” & unless they know what your level was/is when you feel healthy, they can’t say precisely what your reading should be - hence lowest dose until you feel OK. Ask them what you should be asking for & for what you want.

Disagree with your GP. My estradiol levels are checked annually, at my GP surgery, have been for about 10 years. Every few years my estradiol levels fluctuate wildly, so it's then checked every 6 weeks til sorted. How I 'feel' doesn't usually change much.
