Today I very specifically hate my hysterectomy and the consequence that is having to rely on a GP service and Gender Identity Clinic that won't talk to each other and don't seem to care?

Am I wrong for wondering about my hormone levels? Maybe it just doesn't matter that much.

have you considered referral to menopause clinic? they have expertise & often much better than GPs even gynae oncolologists -I needed hysterectomy pre menopausal following cancer diagnosis btw

Or get a lawyer to write them a letter saying you’ve received inadequate care and it proves that they’re clearly biased in one direction, threatening to pursue legal action if they don’t speed up your care and improve the quality of your care. I think it’d be enough

Clinics are so overrun because transition has enthralled so many young people. But you absolutely matter and should be getting proper care - keep on them, make them do their damn jobs.

They really must be overrun, my own has a wait list of 5 years currently which is insane. But yeah, just the whole downplaying my own situation thing has a hold of me pretty tightly. I've got another appointment tomorrow so I'll bring it up again.
